StopLine Notch Filter

Extremely high laser light blocking value (>OD6)

Semrock's notch filters are highly effective in the field of Raman spectroscopy when there is a need to detect anti-Stokes light, and in the field of fluorescence imaging when performing laser excitation (including Multi-Photon Applications). Additionally, Semrock's filters feature an ion-sputtered hard coat. Like other filters, they offer very high transmittance, durability, and excellent cost performance. 【Features】 ○ Very high laser light blocking value (>OD6) For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

High Performance OD 6 Narrow Notch Filter

Narrow bandwidth, high blocking performance, high transmittance

This notch filter is a hard-coated filter with high blocking performance and a narrow bandwidth. It blocks only the narrow wavelength range before and after a specific wavelength, while allowing other wavelength ranges to pass through, enabling spectral separation. In Raman spectroscopy, both Stokes Raman scattering light (longer wavelength than the laser) and anti-Stokes Raman scattering light (shorter wavelength than the laser) can be detected simultaneously.

Notch filter

High precision, integration, stability

A notch filter is also known as a band-stop or band-reject filter. It can transmit most wavelengths while significantly attenuating light within a specific wavelength range (the stop band).

High Performance - OD 6 Standard Notch Filter

Narrow bandwidth, high blocking performance, high transmittance

This notch filter is a hard-coated filter with high blocking performance and a narrow bandwidth. It blocks only the narrow wavelength range before and after a specific wavelength, while allowing other wavelength ranges to pass through, enabling spectral separation. In Raman spectroscopy, it is possible to simultaneously detect Stokes Raman scattered light (longer wavelength than the laser) and anti-Stokes Raman scattered light (shorter wavelength than the laser).

Notch filter (band-stop filter, rugate filter)

Craftsman's Point: Achieved optical properties with a periodically varying refractive index. Application: Expected applications in notable fields such as Raman spectroscopy.

We will achieve optical characteristics that have not been realized before by periodically changing the refractive index. Conventional optical filters (optical thin films) consist of alternating layers of high-refractive-index and low-refractive-index films, which exhibit specific optical properties. In contrast, notch filters (band-stop filters) are deposition products designed to periodically change the refractive index in the thickness direction. A characteristic feature is that no optically unnecessary ripple occurs outside the stopband. We can achieve optical characteristics that were not possible with previous optical thin film processing. (Do you have such challenges?) ■ Is it possible to reflect only around the wavelength of 532nm? ■ I would like the unnecessary parts to be unable to transmit optically. ■ Notch filter? Band-stop filter? Rugate filter? ■ I have heard that the measurement difficulty after deposition is high; can you accommodate this?
